  3. Ted:  You know, first day of college, I showed up, I was so freaked out, and I got up to my room, and there was my roommate. Lying on the bed, with his feet up on the wall, and headphones on, big smile on his face, he just didn’t give a crap. Happy. Confident. Not afraid of anything. That guy was you, you before you met Lily. Marshal: Ted, Ted: Yeah? Marshal: I was high that day. I was, I was so high I thought you were the Dean. Ted: Heh..what I’m saying is, there’s a version of you, without Lily..and, it’s not this. You cannot let Lily steal your identity the way that guy stole hers. Marshal: Ok, ok. Resolved. Starting tomorrow, I’m gonna start being ok. Cheers. But he wasn’t. Cause that’s not how life works. The next day he found one of her socks or something, and we’re back on square one. And then, one morning: Robin: Ted, I think you should see this. Ted: Marshal? What are you doing?  Marshal: It’s Sunday. It’s pancake’s day. It took him 67 days and one really disgusting batch of pancakes, but Marshal had come back from the dead. Because while baseball, strippers and guns can’t help, the only thing that can really heal a broken heart is TIME.

Lily : What did this heart do at 8.30? Doctor : It…literally skipped a beat. Lily : Your heart’s talking to you, Barney. Do you have the guts to listen to it?

How To Make A Woman Happy. it’s pretty easy actually. a Man only has to be: a friend a companion a lover a brother a father a master  a chef an electrician a carpenter a plumber a mechanic a decorator a stylist a sexologist a gynecologist a psychologist a healer a pest exterminator a good listener an organizer a good father very clean sympathetic  athletic warm attentive gallant intelligent funny creative tender strong understanding tolerant prudent ambitious capable courageous determined true dependable passionate committed  Without forgetting: to give compliments regularly to love taking them shopping to be honest to be very rich not to stress her out not to look at other girls And at the same time: give her a lot of attention, while expecting little for yourself give her a lot of time, especially for herself give her a lot of space, not worrying where she goes  AND VERY IMPORTANT: Never to forget: birthdays anniversaries arrangements she makes But sadly, how to make a man happy? show up naked.
